What We Offer
How we work
-
We schedule a phone call to discuss the student’s needs, learning style, and key objectives.
-
Our assessment takes place in your home, where we work one-on-one with the student to evaluate their current skill level and learning needs. This helps us identify strengths and areas for improvement.
-
A learning plan is a tailored outline that sets clear educational goals and identifies the steps needed to achieve them. It helps guide both the student and tutor through a focused approach to learning.
-
We carefully match each student with a tutor based on their unique needs and learning style. Afterwards, we schedule a trial lesson to ensure the student and tutor are a good fit and can begin working toward their goals effectively.
-
After each lesson, we provide a detailed report outlining the student’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. This feedback helps track their development and informs the next steps in their learning plan.
A Message from the Founder
"I started Park Town Tutors because I believe that the right support can change far more than a child's grades – it can transform the way they see themselves.”
Over the past ten years, I've worked with children of all ages and abilities, and one thing has remained true: every child learns differently. Every child deserves an approach tailored to them, and that's the principle that guides every tutor at Park Town Tutors.
Rather than becoming a large agency, my vision has always been to build a carefully selected team of tutors who share the same values and work closely together to provide an exceptional experience for every family.
Do get in touch to learn more.

“Melissa is fantastic. She is patient and kind. My children come out of their hour long sessions happy and with energy. Because of Melissa my children have become more confident in their learning which has made a huge difference in all areas.”
— Former Client“Melissa has been brilliant in supporting our two daughters aged 6 and 8 with maths and English tutoring. She really helped to embed the day to day school learning for one child and increase her confidence, and for the other she is stretching her beyond her regular school work. I’d highly recommend her.”
— Former Client“The personalised support for the 7+ exam made all the difference.”
